Lay judge Mimo Garcia: In an organized, democratic country, we elect representatives with our own vote. We delegate to them the right to represent us

Lay judge Mimo Garcia:

In connection with my tweet about weapons (https://bit.ly/3raXvOM), one person wrote this for me: „He’s one of those jackasses who outsources his safety and security to others and then attempts to say it makes him morally superior instead of a leech.“

In an organized, democratic country, we elect representatives with our own vote. We delegate to them the right to represent us.

We delegate to the police and the army to take care of our security, following the laws (rules) written by our representatives.

We delegate to the court to decide who is right and who is wrong, again based on the laws written by our representatives.

I think the truth is very clear. Some, however, prefer not to follow laws but to enforce their beliefs by force. Yes, BUT in a normal society this is NOT possible. 😉

Have a nice Sunday!
